A traditional former shepherd’s cottage, which is attached to the main farmhouse, is situated on a family run working beef and sheep farm. This cottage is for those happy to be at the heart of the farm, so pop on your boots and explore our 1400 acres.

Located to the right of the farmhouse, with views overlooking the hills. To the rear with access from the lounge patio doors, is a delightful west-facing garden complete with patio area and garden furniture ideal for dining alfresco.

The cottage has been awarded Category 3 for the less able.

Lounge

Chill out in this cosy room with generous seating for 5 and take advantage of the in-house entertainment (colour TV, video, DVD, CD). Alternatively pick up a good book, play a board game or escape to the gard en and absorb the peaceful atmosphere. A child's safety gate has been fitted at the bottom of the stair.

Kitchen / Diner

Fully fitted modern kitchen with table and chairs for up to 5 people, a high chair is available on request. We provide an electric hob, oven and extractor fan, fridge / 4 drawer freezer, touch control microwave, automatic washing machine, tumble drier, quality crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, food mixer, tea service and a caffetier, iron and ironing board, towels, tea towels and oven gloves and the list goes on….

Ground Floor – Bedroom 1

A spacious room with double bed, fitted wardrobes, vanity unit and bedside cabinets. Radio/alarm clock and hairdryer supplied. A travel cot can be supplied if required for this bedroom.

Ground Floor – Bathroom

Fully tiled bathroom with a thermostatic shower over the bath, wash hand basin and toilet. (The bath is fitted with a horizontal support rail for the less able guest.) Towels and bath mat provided.

* The staircase to the first floor is moderately steep with a handrail.
* A safety gate has been fitted at the bottom of the stairs.

First Floor - Bedroom 2

This spacious dormer/attic room has two single beds, 2 bedside cabinets, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a radio/alarm clock supplied.

First Floor - Bedroom 3

Another spacious dormer/attic room with one single bed and a cot bed (not bedding). A permanent safety gate is attached at this bedroom door and an alarm clock supplied.

No Smoking allowed inside the property.

One Small Pet Welcome - on the understanding that it is house trained, kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. They are not to be left alone at any time in or near the accommodation.

Changeover Day – Saturday - arrival from 4.00pm, vacating before 10.00am.
